Great looking ride. How does it do around town ? Any overheating or vapor lock ?
Thank you! It rides great, specially for as low as it is, it never hits. But I can thank the nice Texas roads. I've had it out on a few 110+ days, and got stuck in traffic, it got hot, but the gauge never touched the red. It's never vapor locked, or been hard to start after it was shut off in the heat. I STRONGLY suggest that if you have the space, to move the fuel pump to the back of the bike. Even taking it easy, if you touch the pump, it's very hot. Then beat the hell out of the bike in 100+ heat and it gets extremely hot, even at the back of the bike. The fuel filter is under there too.  :tu:

Sounds about right!   :thumb:  Not quite the miracle numbers you got at the other place though eh?(did it make like 250 at 5 psi or something somewhere else?)

BTW we need to hook up and ride sometime...

It made 247 back up north at stock wheelbase, and a regular stealth shinko at 6 or 7psi.... On the cheese dyno it was sitting at 65.5 in wb, with an ultra soft, and a un-"manicured" chain and 100 plus temp. Not gonna like I was expecting at least 20 more hp, but come to find out I had a lower wastegate spring then I thought. :? But excuses set aside, the bikes a monster, and runs extremely well. Had to touch it up in the part throttle range, but that's to be expected.

I got thursedays and Fridays off now, so we need to meet up. Might wanna come up when I go back out to johns to get the super ultra bike tuned.  I'll text you later this week.

Started making a few more upgrades getting the bike more track worthy. I bought a cycleteck air shifter and ecu shift kill harness. I got the duel regulator system. One for the shifter, and one for the ams...when I get one. I also had it configured to run off nitrous.  :hm: maybe I'll replace the water injection with a little 5hp shot...

I haven't gotten a nitrous bottle yet, but I have rode around and tested the shift kill while still foot shifting. It's very cool, and even just foot shifting wide open while hitting the kill is bad ass! Since you don't let up, you can feel the bike continually pulling harder and harder. I also put on a Busa rear rotor...had a 1k rotor on it...10mm smaller then the Busa rotor.

Pics...
Rim stripes.

Rotor

Duel regulator set up

Air ram kinda installed.

I'll post some videos once I get it back on the road. Gotta put a new tire on it, and have my oil return welded in...came loose.

Thank you! The coating is holding up very well. Many many long highway pulls, and dyno runs, and it still looks great.

make sure you cover your air line from the regulator to the air shifter , for protection against cuts or excessive heat...many guys use rubber automotive fuel line that slides over the plastic line.... I learned this th hard way, the plastic line melted alittle from touching the frame a burst a small hole in it, this happened at 230mph shifting into 5th, there was not enough air left in the line, the transmission got stuck between 4th and 5th, buy buy tranny....
