Help getting left side fairing bolt out
« on: March 01, 2010, 09:07:48 AM »
The middle left side fairing bolt wont budge.  The head of the bolt is beginning to strip and the damn thing wont break loose.  Any ideas how I can get it out before the head completely strips.  Can't believe Suzuki put  it in that tight.  It's an '08 if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Use quality, brand name allen socket = snapon, mac, or something similar.   Put the allen socket in the bolt and tap on it with a hammer a few times to help loosen the bolt, then try to loosen while pushing in on the allen socket firmly, don't hit it hard enough to break anything. Have plenty of patience.   Good luck.
