stock busa with nos
« on: February 02, 2012, 06:36:01 PM »
I am putting NOS 60 hp dry shot on my 2011 stock busa this week end. Do I need to add anything else to it for it to work right? Thanks

i would not recommend running it without doing springs. members on here have split keepers with a 40 shot

Rider44 ,
I have a Gen 2 with a few mods and last year i ran a 42 shot , didn't have any problems . But not worth dropping a valve . change the valves and valve springs also might want to change fuel pump . I use a Bosch #69420 . Pump is go up to 400 HP mine is a in the tank and if you are using the ECU Editor by Greg Smith go 50/50 on your injector balance .

Gen 1 Busa can take 40-50-60 HP shot with the correct fueling and not have issues.  Gen 2 Busa is another story all together.  Like stated above, you need valve springs at least.

I spit shims on my first trip to the track with a 40 shot. I had a spray bar set up with qw window switch and progressive controller. I did NOT get into RED LINE. Dropping a valve is bad suckage.
