Crowd went nuts when Bill & Tom made their record setting passes!
WTFG Tom & Bill!!!
:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

the number of spectators is huge, people everywhere; great for the sport.

high pressure weather coming in right now, baro has gone from 29.8 to 30.03 & rising, temps cooler than yesterday.
typical Texas norther system; only question is the wind direction, but it'll be strong 16-30.

Bill's uber-high-tech plastic is back on :fingerscrossed
Often wrong, but never unsure!!!!!

Saturday started out with the usual head wind, about 2pm it turned to a light tailwind. The rest of the day it was either the tail wind or still. As good as you could ask for.
Tom Gates 261.5 Awesome especially for a new bike
Sneaky Bill Warner 255+ naked Bill started out with a really neat fairing and had handling issues so he took it off and was flying. I saw them putting the fairing back on last night so maybe he is going to try again today.
Guy Caputto 219 with a small shot, he is going to turn it up today
Jennifer Robinson a229 then a 230.7 her best ever.
Karl Gunther 204.7 Karls green turd(his words) is so consistent and fast.
Doug Meyer 206.9 on Karls Kawi. Doug had brake problems, ran off the end of the track, didnt fall down. Doug said it was the ride of his life. I told Doug he needed to remember that iw a ZX not a KD. :hys:
California Bill 202.4 Bills first runs over 200, made several 200+ runs
Bob Sellers 204.1 Solid
Mike Hooks 193 on a friends ZX11 He will have the Busa back in October
Brenda Sue 180.1 Personal best. Brenda get faster each run

Hal Gottsacker 184.2 130ci Harler bagger

Congratulations to Tom and Bill. Awesome.
Lots of people with lots of gremlis. No fun at all. JC made good use of my Tiger Racing laptop stand. Shameless plug for Guy who has done so much for us all. :thumb:
Congratulations to everybody who did well yesterday.
Hope those guys with gremlins get them fixed.
Karl skipped the chinese buffet last night, maybe he will pick up a couple of MPH today. :D

1st run 253.8

GO, GO, GO, GO!!! :woot:

Shane,
We broke.  The fat tired bike ran a 235 shakedown, swapped gear, turned up boost, boost sensor line to auxillary injectors came off. Made a partial pass, something obviously wrong, shut down at 1/4.  still smoked the motor.  Ol' faithful ran 244 shakedown, cracked front rotors.  Aborted second run from wind 235.  Turned up after Tom's AWESOME run, we broke 5th gear and coasted through at 249.6.  Back to the drawing board.
