Are the 1000 wheels much lighter that the Hayabusa? Do many people use them on the busa? Any spacing issues or anything I need to know about.

Depends if your talking about a gen 2 busa then they are not much lighter. My buddy just bought a set and they came up to 3lbs lighter and that's both wheels. so unless your going after the look I don't see where it's worth the time and worth running spacers and stuff.
