Anyone have information on the timing chain sprocket mod

Which rib do I remove the one under the dot?

Thanks
Maybe this year?

sorry for the late responce.  Don't check this forum much.

yes.  on the 01-02 gsxr 1000 ignition rotor you will need to get the tooth machined out under the punch mark.  Then it will slide on the 03-06 crank where the tooth is missing (filled in).
01-02 has the punch mark you line up.  So you can put the ignition rotor on wrong if the punch marks do not line up.  03 and up has a tooth filled in on the crank and a tooth missing on the ignition rotor so it can only be put on the right way.

Thanks I did just that I grinded it with a small bit and it was softer then I thought it would be.

I haven't swaped the pick up as I haven't taken the 01 apart yet

But going to sent the gap to spec.s and put on a 01 head when that gets done

still waiting on word for that little project
Maybe this year?
