CDI UNIT QUESTION

I have a 2000 Busa and my CDI unit went bad causing one of my coils to stay on and burn out. I ordered another CDI unit Part # 32920-24FK0 but they sent me a CDI unit Part #32920-01H10. It came off a 2006 Busa. Will this work on my Bike or should I return it ?

Hey! You should be alright with that alternate year CDI. No reason to take it back.

their is a different in the ecm the 1999-2000 ecm will allow those year model to go faster on top end . because after that year they  put a limiter in the ecm to not let the bike reach over 180 mile hr

Not going ot work unleess you change teh rotor on the crank and also repin the connectors

01 is another
02-07 is another

the part number you posted is not off a 06
