Is the bike weight accurate? not doubting the numbers but a 576 lb package making 278 rwhp will run faster than 173-175..Either way those are some good numbers to have!! :thumb:

So your stage 3 flows the same as Bob's stock valve standard head...My Carpenter stock valve  flowed 270 at 28"...What were the low lift numbers....I was going to go to big valves, etc but from what I am seeing there is no need.

its not all about the peak air flow number......its the low and mid lift numbers that are important.....big peak numbers sell......but that dont mean they will run down the track..... :thumb:

Very true.

You can hog open the MCSA of the port and get huge flow numbers on a flow bench well into the 280's or 290's.   But the engine will be a slug.

On a 1650 you do want larger valves.

Try getting Brock to take our cnc ported head off of this bike and replace it with a head from anyone else.   Or Micheal Garcia to take our head off his 1340cc 211.xx mph Bonneville record holding bike.   Or Cecil at HTP to use someone else's ported head or Bryan Snyder at Quantum Motorsports, or APE, or the dozen other shops that use our heads.
These guys have tried them all, this isn't their first rodeo.

Thats why I asked what were the low lift numbers..I know what miine are and what the bike runs. That being said, looking at  what JT ran on Sonny's bike, there would be no benefit to swap...Your work does sound good though.
