So the IAP fuel map is basically a load based(rpm vs vacuum) map correct?  Does it only tune for neutral/clutch in, or does it tune for when you are in gear as welll?  Also, the MS map is just a extra map correct.  When is it used, or how do you activate it?

Thanks
Ben
As Greg said it contol all fueling below 10% throttle, MS is a extra map that you can setup to your liking, and activate by splicing wire 58 and placing a switch in line so select either map.

So, if I buy Gregs nitrous harness, and then use the nitrous control in advanced settings on my gen 2, then do I have to still mess with the MS map?  I tried enablling the nitrous control to see if it made changes to the MS map, and didnt see anything.  Do I need to make sure that the MS map still matches the TPS map If I am using the nitrous control feature?

Thanks
Ben

ms0 and ms1 is really mainly being used on gen 1s.  the nitrous control module on gen 2 bikes is super easy to use, just tune your bike the normal way on iap / tps.  then turn nitrous control on, and pick how much fuel to add, what % duty cycle nitrous to add, and how much timing to pull, for each gear, then have fun :)  It doesn't use the ms0/ms1 feature to do this so no need to worry about it.

Cool.  I just wanted to make sure that I didnt have to use the MS tables in conjunction with the nitrous control module.

One could consider MS table for things like race fuel.

So, I saw that you have the tutorial on how to past info into the tables on in the editor.  Is there an easy way to copy the info out of those tables to a spreadsheet to work with?  Anytime I try, it just pastes garbage when I try to paste it.  Am I going to have to copy them all manually?

in ecu editor, highlight a group of cells, and hit control C, then go to excel and hit paste

then same thing in reverse once altered in excel.

Just did it now, this assumes you are using 2.4 latest software

I tried that with version 2.4 and it is still doing the same thing.  When I past, it just pastes garbage.  Not the info I coppied.  I am using Microsoft Works Spreadsheet.  Is it possible it is not compatable with the info I am copying?  I have to get off the computer for a while but I will mess with it again in a little while.

I just installed Microsoft office, and sure enough, it pastes fine in excel.  Wierd.  lol.  I was wondering if there has been any thought of including a 2 step feature in the software?  I know I have seen talk of using the STP tables to kind of limit first gear some for launching.  Is it safe to go ahead and make  your 2 and 3 gear STP tables match the rest?  When I tried, it will let me get them close, but for some reason some of the cells wont stay matching the other gears.  They drop like one incriment lower than what I set them at.  I imagine that they are still close enough that it will act pretty much the same as the other gears though.  I also matched the STP fuel tables back up to 100.   I have not put this on the bike yet though becuase I wanted to ask first.  As far as the neutral maps, what are the conditions for those.  Is it only in neutral, or also when clutch is pulled?

The values are rounded to nearest integer. Actual scale is 0-255 and we use values 0-100% for more convenience. I can look into rounding being more precise at some point, but 1% does not affect much on STPS opening.

So when using ecu editor is there no way to edit the values at idle(0%)?  My bike idles a little rough for the first few seconds when I start it up.  It did not do this with the power commander installed.   The idle smooths out when it warms up, so this is not a real issue, but I just wondered if there was any way to do anything about it.  It looks like I can edit the timing table at 0%, but not the fuel.

Thanks
YOU CAN CHANGE THE TIMING AND FUEL @ IDEL. ITS TO LEAN AND THERE IS NO TIMMING @ IDEL BUMP IT UP AND YOU WILL BE FINE. ALSO BUMP UP YOUR STPS.

I didnt mess with the timing but I did end up adding more fuel at idle in the IAP map.  It was real lean at idle.

Pair is blocked I assume ? (Seen several times that idle / small throttle opening positions is claimed to be lean - but has just been the fact that pair valve was open and air was injected to the exhaust.)

Well, I dont have blockoff plates on it, but the pair is disabled and the vavle is unplugged(using nitrous harness).

No, but will be today.  Right now solenoid is still installed just unplugged.  I didnt try to add fuel to get it to the point of the idle afr looking right.  Just a little to smooth it out.

How do you open the Bazzaz map to convert it? It is not a .bin file.

just noticed i think in latest software the apply function was removed.  there is no reason to use it in my opinion as the iap tuning isn't taken care of due to way the piggybacks work.
