WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK????

THIS GOT ME THINKING ABOUT IT: http://www.catalystracingcomposites.com/data/en/news/HAMMER%20NEWS%20february%202010.htm

ESPECIALLY THIS:

"2010 Goals:
Stay Safe ! Have Fun ! Go Fast !
Also:
Defend Track record at Loring, maybe set record higher to become the outright world’s fastest street bike.
Set - and hold at the end of the season – the Maxton track record.
Defend Jason’s Old Yellow fastest streetbike record at Bonneville.
Defend Joe Amo’s fastest sit-on record at Bonneville.
Set track record at El Mirage, possibly over 250 MPH
Defend track record at Goliad.
If the team can accomplish all these goals, we will have the track records at ALL major LSR tracks in the country, and ALL those records will be over 250 MPH.
Remember, the best defense is a good offense !!

yup... been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Kinda sad when your a motorcycle tech and can't work to capacity plus trying to tame one of these bikes we ride... I don't think it would be smart to try anymore without correction..

Realistically, the Hammer is not the same bike that it was when Charlie sold it. If you have seen it in person, you would know that. I also believe that the engine has been rebuilt more than once.

Honestly, these kind of petty responses have no place in racing, or this thread. Personally, I do think that Bill will run the best #'s at Loring, but I don't see a need to insult anyone in the process.

I am sorry to hear about your hand Shane.

I just got done with a 2,800 mile ride with my friends, and the carpal tunnel and arm pump was killing me most of the time.

It would definitely NOT be a good idea to race at the level you are at with that condition.

I have had two bad surgeries in the last two years, so I can relate. Good luck with your surgery.

I’ll be in school from the middle of July until first week of October so I’ll miss Loring, Speed Week and World of Speed. What was supposed to be one three month school when I took my new assignment last fall turned into four schools encompassing most of this year. I have not even bought the bike I have in mind for my new LSR project yet. Are you going to Loring or WoS?

That is ugly for the wallet. I can’t complain because I get paid when I go to school and it was a voluntary assignment.
