front end is all tighened down, all my hand controls and levers installed, picked up a stock clutch lever at the dealer and got that all sorted out, swapped on the single brake line for the left side only.

did a bit of tidy'ing up the wiring harness around the battery it was still a mess there.

gotta order a chain and sprockets for these extensions and grab a brake line while im at it.

i think i might have made the steering stem a little too tight.

just ordered 16/43 gearing and a 150 link EK-ZZZ race chain

gearing according to a calculator should be like this...

1st   2nd  3rd   4th  5th   6th
70   95   120  143  161   176

ok, couldnt sleep after working on coreys truck all night, got up, went to the garage...

used the 10 dollar harbor freight chain rivet tool, and it ****ing worked great, i would recommend it to anyone, you have to have some patience to get everything in the way you want, and then get it done. so after that i adjusted the chain. going to raise the back end of the bike a tiny bit on teh links, one or two more, till i can cut up the box on the back of the swingarm and etc.

filled the bike with water, installed the shift linkage rearset and bent back all the stock parts for the shift linkage and got it all working great actually hahha. re-ran all the wiring in the front end, used teh factory zip ties and etc. mounted the front end fuse box.  gutted the stock air box to the Big airbox mod. threw filter in the garbage, mounted the stock tank, connected all the fuel lines etc.

fitted the stock overflow tank, filled the front tire with air (it looses air somehow) im sure i did some other small things im forgetting...

i cut more of the ass end of the bike off so the tire doesn rub, fired it up and rode it up and down the driveway today, bike sounds awesome it feels great to ride it, i wanna get new pegs on it, and the front wheel sorted out. (leaky tire, or broken rim? bent rim?) then i gotta put new brake pads on the front they feel shitty, and remove the other rotor,

then i need to make a support bracket for the rear caliper

my dad is going to hammer the balls out of the tank in an effort to make it low profile for racing, and then we have to fix the front tabs so i can bolt it down.

i would love to race it this weekend.

ran into some interesting issues lately, a few days ago i plugged in my bikes map, and intake air and coolant temp sensor.

the other day when we moved the bike it stalled out.

couldnt get it started, pulled plugs, black....

got new plugs the next day, bike rolled coal out the back and killed the plugs again....

one mistake was, i had the IAT and coolant temp sensor swapped, the other was, when i plugged the coolant temp sensor in right, teh gauge works now...

with the map sensor still plugged in the bike fouls out bad, vacuum applied or not, it just fuckin dies.

so, with the IAT and map sensor unplugged the bike runs like a dream, synched teh ITB's tonight, replaced the front brake pads, and installed a new switch for the ignition, wich i hate, and will be throwing out sadly... fawk, haha.

also removed the stock gas cap, ordered a screw on style, strait on its way from ebay.

Hey I cracked that screen trying to get it in the box last night (I honestly barely flexed it), pretty rediculous...

I think I may have another one laying around, I'll try to find it and if I do I'll send it out seperately to ya.  Forks will go out on my lunch break here in a couple hours.

haha well im glad it was a freebie, did you ship it anyway? ill tape it up something horrible with pakcing tape and run it anyway, the bike is going to look like a bag of shit till i get all new plastics for it lol

wait till i throw the front end on, and the stay with the cracked up front end, and teh smashed plastics on it and post pics,

what a junkyard dog she will look like

You could always repair it and paint it the same color as the bike if you wanted to.

LQQking good. I agree with bent rim as cause for leak. Check close for cracked rim.
