last wednesday i dropped it off at my friends shop for him to do some aluminum welding form me, and to build a sidewinder style 4-1 exhaust so i have better ground clearance, we might even shave my pan and pickup 1inch.

should have it this week, and i want to race this weekend.

how do you think i will do on my first time out on it (i have decent experience racing a 636 that went 10.55 on motor 111rwhp) with the street tire thats on it, i hope it hooks up ok.

i was thinking about ripping it at a local dyno to check the Air fuels, and if they are close to OK just race it like that, otherwise ill buy that ECU flasher and tune it.

Dont expect too much your first time out.  Just have fun.  What track are you going to?  They might check for a rear brake.

oh the rear brake will be fine, everything is functional now i just dont have the support bracket, my friend is relocating the ear so that will be fine then too.

i would be totally amazed with myself if i can go single digits first day out, depends on the amount of runs i get in also.

yep, everything haha.

it was easy for him, he hasnt even seen a pic of a sidewinder or anything for a bike, i just told him i wanted tuned equal length coming out the side of the motor for ground clearance.

then again, this is what he does for a living...

Im curious to see how that pipe does on a dyno.  Im sure it will make power...just wondering how the power curve will look.

the bike definately has some holes, my other bikes were lean all over, im assuming this is the same way stock, with all the breather mods, im sure that did not help it...

i just ordered my boost by smith tuning cable, and ill probably end up getting a wideband commander to do the data logging.

all the bike dynos in this area are not too keen on letting me do my own tuning, wich is a crock of shit.

ide rather tune it myself and have the logger and everything else and be able to check and tune whenever i want, and then just stop by and make a power pull sometime.

i like to tune by MPH at the track anyway haha.

bike feels really strong with the pipe, i did a 1st and 2nd gear rip, but i can feel the fuel holes in some places, and it died in after i chopped the throttle after a nice rolling burnout, so it was either way lean or rich when i chopped the throttle and clutch.

haha thats why i think ill be waiting a bit.

just ordered the ECU tuner.

still deciding on if i should order the wideband commander, or wait and see if i can find a decent dyno around here.

With your setup, you should be able to get by with a base map from Greg.  Look in the tuning section.  They have a threadd where they post free maps for the ecu editor.

testing out the two step on the stock ecu

played with romraider today and setup my 2step at 3k fuel and ignition are turning off at 3100 and back on at 3000, so its pretty soft and no backfires.

not bad for a first test!
