« on: July 30, 2010, 06:41:36 PM »
need some advice on a problem I'm having with my 1999 busa can not git fuel pump relay to work unless i take a test light and touch the yellow and black strip wire going into fuel relay. i check engine start switch it turn off and on if i use a wire from the negative wire from the battery and touch the yellow/black wire the test light turn on and off when i hit the engine start switch and the fuel pump come on but with out the jumper wire. i also need someone to tell me what the orange/yellow strip and black/white  on the ignition side suppose to go because in the Manuel it show the wire going like this turn the switch on red to orange , orange/yellow strip to black/white , gray to brown       R----O     O/Y-----B/W     GR-----BR    when you turn the ignition on the O/Y is not hot at all but i no it goes straight to the ecm than  what ?

Sounds like your sidestand switch but it could be the tip-over or clutch switch too :?: check those.
