Hopefully no gremlins for the 219 record attempt.
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

Great reading guys thanks for the updates, must get over to landracing and see more
Go Fred, great speeds  :thumb:
Also i see John Dobbs i think at a personal best
And spectacular speeds from a NA 750

Like everyone else here have some concerns about the tire issues, hope some more informed selections can be made before there is a major problem

Looks great!   Is there some story behind the "Raceing"?

WOW! Is an understatement ..... 228 in the 1350 class is unbelievable.  If I didn't know and respect the integrity of all involved with that Busa, I would swear it couldn't be a legitimate 1350.
Fastest 1.5-Mile Pass - 252.222
Fastest 1-Mile Pass - 244.2997

Thanks for all the kudos. I always have trouble with that spelling, Spellcheck said it was ok. :hys: We have some ground clearance problems we will get it fixed and make a run in the morning. I have my tallest gear on, but I have some more rpm available. We will see tomorrow.
The tire deal is a mess. These "racing" tires are too soft. I have been using a lot of right hand traction controll. Six runs 3 over 200 and my tire looks brand new. But that is the exception not the rule. Also all the people selling these tires are telling people to run low pressure, low 30 psi. My tire had leaked doen to 34 psi and handled like crap, I pumped it up to 44 psi and made my 3 over 200 runs. Straight as an arrow.
