I've had a few of those! Here's the 1973 that I owned for about 20 years. It started out as a stock L-82 automatic. That didn't last long. lol

A new shop is my winter project - gotta have something to work out of - the garage just is not big enough when it is full of bikes.

That's a nice '73.
This is an uncut 69.
When it is done it will be for drivin and a few shows.
Got the chassis back together.
Gonna freshen the engine which is an all Chevy small block with 292 heads.

Feel free to post as many pics of the Corvette as you'd like! I also had a 1968 ragtop with the 390 hp 427 and a Muncie. Rode like a wagon, but it sure was cool. I never modified it.
My 1973 wound up with a 555 that made 865 hp. It was driven on the street and ran a 9.16@151 at the local quarter mile strip.
My fastest Corvette was my 1984 coupe with a small block and a huge turbo. It was an Outlaw car (6.87@210 1/4, 4.59@164 1/8, 1.12 60 ft @ 3150 pounds). Those Stingrays hold a special place in my heart.

Great guys!

They have a Blackhawk frame jig just for old Vettes.
Their experience is that 80% of C3 frames are unsafe and most have mouse nests ahead of the back dogleg.
Mine had two.
They cut huge pieces from my frame rails, fixed it, then had it acid dipped and e-coated.
I'm trying to do this one right.

Oh Ya!
Just spent 8 hours painting the u joints a contrasting color to the driveshafts.
Man, this stuff is time consuming.

OK, it's warmed up here in Georgia, and I got some work done on the bikes.

The turbo is now air-shifted, and has a newly sprung and valved shock. A little ballast up front.

The nitrous bike has a Walbro fuel pump, a bigger pill, and will be tuned this Friday at Livengood Motorsports in Loganville, GA.

I also found a second 5lb bottle, and moved it forward a little, to keep me from sliding back, and opening a gap between my helmet and the windscreen, like this;

So now I should sit something like this;

Do you smart folks who have been to the wind tunnel (or are just aero-smart) think it will help?

thanks  :D
