Pretty cool. 210 is a pretty lofty goal with no real aeros and only 214 hp.

The comment about not having Roland Sands brand parts available for the victory doesn't make sense. Seems foolish to do all of he hype and not have a parts line coming out to go along with it
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

I know what you mean about the top speed goal. He figures if 200 hp gets 200 mph, then 214 hp has to mean 10 more mph! That means some of the guys on this site are on their way to 600 mph passes! Woohoo!!

I'm not a hater. I hope he gets it. I just think an extra 14 hp will probably not equate to 10 mph more. Very cool bike.

I think it looks great but 210mph...hmm....then again they are doing it on a 2-mile+ paved road so I would think it's possible.  They aren't doing 1-mile accel or fighting traction on salt/dirt....  :thumb:

On another video, it says that [200 mph] is a road where thesmallest decisions can mean the difference between life and death....

How about wearing something other than jeans while testing your bike....what a tool.

But you know as well as I do that Bill can flat out ride! I used to get a kick out of watching Bill ride that Vmax.

I think 200 is doable but a small rider would really help things out by looking at that windshield. Bike looks like a million bucks and they may have that much in it!!!!

Find room for an intercooler and it probably would.

The 243lbs of torque should get them there, I think they can do it, if they set it up right.
Hope to see it at a mile race  :thumb:   Man it looks sweet!

Maybe you should challenge them to a race with your VMax

They should be able to do it with enough distance. Would be a lot easier with some sort of seat/tail. Great looking bike; maybe it should have dice on the side that say "two, the hard way". LSL
All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.

Maybe Roland Sands / Victory need to show up at a mile event and give it a try...they have one of the "pro's" give it a shot and see how it goes.

Perhaps someone should reach out and invite them to an event.

They do mention Maxton at the end of the article ... It would be nice to see them there.

I dropped by my Victory dealer today during their test ride event. I couldn't bring myself to throw a leg over one.

Wow.  When I read the word "Victory", I was automatically skeptical.  I'm not a busa snob, I've just gotten so narrowly focused that Turbo Busas are about the only bike I ever notice or think about.  After watching the vid, I must say-  That really is a great looking bike.  It would be great to see another American bike run 200.  I think there's lots of potential here and I hope he meets his goal.

Roland-  If you're reading this, take to heart the advise that someone above wrote about wearing the right gear, especially leathers.  Ask me how I know and I'll put up some pictures of mine up after a pretty fast get off at the Texas mile a few years back.

Good luck and great work.   :thumb:
Yeah, it made 500 hp at 32 psi.

If a N/A race prepared Busa, or one of those Beemer 1000s can do 200, I would think that bike surely can, I don't do LSR but understand it, and do know it takes a lot of preperation and HP to get 200,................. 210 or 214 that may be a little differant story but I would think its still doable? Roland, good luck..........and put some dam leather on :|
The older you get do you notice you start chickening out way before the bike does
