2nd gen 1441 kit

A.P.E./Hayabusazone has a gen 2 1441 kit for sale/swap. Is it a good idea to use their gen 2 block? I've heard rumors that the gen2 block cracks, would it be a good idea to swap my block and pistons + $897 for their gen 2 kit?

Not to jack post/// BUT,, I wonder when the supply of used gen1 cylinders will be used up? Is there anyone making a aftermarket one like the stocker with waterjacket?
