Have never seen a bike like this always 1000s

I guess it's kinda like a 1000, with 300cc extra!  :thumb:

Finally got the matching carbon/kevlar front guard... weighs 400gms less than the plastic one!

Did another track day at Eastern Creek in Sydney (2 consecutive days actually). Used both the track bike and the road bike.
More pics coming soon...

Here we go...

I started riding my road bike. It had not been on the track, so I thought I'd give it a run for 2 sessions...

Then I got on track with the track Busa and fresh tyres (you can still see the yellow ink line in some shots)

Hi. Put some stickers on the track bike fairings...

What do you think? Is that:

(a) too much
(b) enough
(c) not enough
(d) I want to see a "shopping list down the side"

ceramic rotors are 1.2kg for the pair??  :D

maybe you could fit an adjustable offset front end for better steering weight tuneability
perhaps the frame could be machined where the swingarm mounts to alter swingarm pivot angle with adjustable eccentric pivots like the gixxers have.If its a pure track bike,no need to be conservative, slice and dice it to get it how you want.i found with really light rims and tyres alot of the steering weight vanished, but so did alot of the confidence that gyroscopic force supplies,That was an expensive lesson, till i played with the trail settings. It taught me alot about how the busa was designed to feel happy to ride at certain speed ranges with confidence, and when you start dramatically altering the dynamics, its not always a win win scenario.Good luck

Thanks for the ride of your tracky Pan!!!, thats the most fun I've had in a long time. The bike is a credit to you mate , light weight , great handling and busa power, what more could you ask for.

You definately succeded in creating a busa track bike, anyone who disagrees needs to line up next to you!!!

Well done.

Ive been using my 07 Hayabusa for trackdays for 5 years, and every one is amazed, and the fact Im now 65 years old, they put me in with the advanced groups. Trick with making Bus perform on track is put in the shorten links (10mm shorter) at rear, which raises rear by 34mm and that just transforms how it goes around corners, much better.
Add 2 separate braided brake hoses, and run Motal 600 brake oil. ( Ive gone to a complete race Italian mastercyclinder now )
Front forks completely built with different valves and uprated springs ( I think 10kg more?) Steering damper I drained and refilled with slightly higher viscosity oil ( Front fork oil ) for landspeed trials ( 309.4kph recorded ) Engine now tuned with T Tune, Quickshifter, 4 x short velocity stacks, Micron racing extractors into single micron muffler.
The PAIR VALVE emission controls/pump all removed, Airbox modification done and K&N airfilter fitted.
Rear hub cushions of Nolathane. Bike now outperforms G2 Hayabusa. Dragracing Im at 10.4sec/138mph I need better technic to get into 9s. So have bought MSD Launch control to help to this.  Hopefully I can include some pictures, but just right now attachment options not working ? Regards John from Auckland, New Zealand.
