I have a new found respect for the regular runners here.........

I'm down 10mph compared to the last meet at Maxton and I've picked up 7 hp since then!

These head/side winds are attention getters. Just when I'm starting to think I'm getting too old for this stuff I watch Karl rip off a 215+. He launches great & man he gets small quick, that Boosa hauls the mail.

Having a GREAT time, the workers are top notch.

:thumb: Dan historically the least wind is going to be early in the morning, try to prepare and lay down your best run first thing Sunday morning.
Is Jen's 221 is the fastest so far?

Made two passes today in the wind (again) and I still ain't liking it!!  :eek:

Managed a 191+ and am still hoping for calmer winds in the morning.

Ryan hurt the motor on his first pass on the turbo bike. Karl ran a 213 or so.

A nice 'Vette was shooting for the fastest Corvette title at like 228 and lost it at the traps. The guy walked away! I heard he cleared the 1/2 mile mark right at 200 so he was cooking.
Took a couple hours to clean up the mess.

Me & Mama walked the pits all afternoon, man there is some $$$ spent in Texas.

Billy's bike had a couple of small issues, only from it's tip overs ...one on each side... :eek:    motor, tune, turbo...all good :tu:

He's running it naked, into the wind!

 got a 218, later in the day
