Well Carl wanted to get into the 200mph club, and I figure after him working on everyone else's bikes it was his turn. First pass for him ever he ran 200.5mph! I'm really happy for him lots of tears and one more thing scratched off the bucket list! Congrats to Jen and Johnny on 221mph!

Thanks Russ. Other than the massive amount of turbo smoke the bike ran perfect.

Also would like to say thanks to team fat ass members , Airon ( not sure if I spelled it wright) and his crew for the parts and food I broke my regulator for my CO2 bottle twice and he had 2 regulators with him big thanks for that , Rich and his wife for letting me use their shower and feeding me ,Doug and his feed me to .  Big thanks to johnny for tuning my motor cycle . big congrats to Dr Cheese for 213.2!!!!!!

I've been coming to the Mile since Oct 2003 watching JC battle wind and mechanical gremlins.
GREAT to see JC finally get his T shirt  :thumb:

My heap ran 215.3 on Fri, then 212.0, 213.3, 212.7, and finally 211.9 on Sun am.

Looking at the logs, the 211.9 was a rider perfect pass, 6500rpm+/- outa the hole, minor spinning, every gear spot on, AF=12.5-ish, crossed the line at 10,500+/-.
I expected to see a 218 ticket.
211.9???? WTF??
figured bearings or valve seats giving it up and parked it.

Just now i looked at Accuweather history and saw for 9am:
- 6mph straight headwind
- baro = 29.73
- humidity = 100%
- temp 72F

hmmm...  maybe just bad air

Thanks, Johnny.

Your 213.2 pass was also pretty damn sweet; looked like a day at the park; no wasted energy, no drama.
Very smooth launch, click-click-click, up the rpm, click, click.

Did you stick around and make the last pass at Goliad?
(as the other book-end to you making the 1st pass at Goliad in Oct 2003)

BTW:
Tom, i am VERY glad you steered me towards the 190/50 Pilot One.
It takes a lot to break that tire loose in a clutch feathering rollon.
I'm loving it  :thumb:
