Yea I read that article before. I was hoping to find the right sizes for the little iddy biddy 2Fiddy I am going to race this year. I am stuck with the BT -003RS but I guess I will have to get over it.  :hys:

Are you racing a Ninjette?  That is so cool!  Those bikes are such a crappy choice for a street bike, and yet they are one of the most over-looked race bikes out there.  I FULLY support the idea of a 250 Supersport / Production racing class- I think it's a great way to get people out there on grid.  When I retire, I may pick up a pair of them to throw in the back of a pickup for SV Hottie and I to go do track days.  It probably won't be fast enough for me to instruct in the "A" group, but the older I get, the slower I get anyways, lol.

Yes a 2008 Kawi 250R.

It will be fun and as far fast.....well they are not except for in, during and out of a corners do they excel.......will be fun for sure. I have done all of the basic mods to it ie; exhaust, POD filter, Jetting, 418 Sprockets/Chain conversion, Rear shock from a GSXR 600, Adj Levers, Rearset adjusters, RaceTech springs/emulators and Preloaders. Just need to get some race plastics....

190/50, or 190/55?

The taller 190/55 is what I would use .  .  .

You'll get a bigger contact patch.

The bike will turn sharper !

You should like it .

I'm running the Avons, but don't run track days. You really can't go wrong with any of them, and with the exception of Kirk, not many of us could out ride todays tires on the street once they come up to temp. I'm getting 5 - 5.5K on the rear and about 7K on the front.

To the OP, the 55 will give you a little better turn in from what I've read.
