I posted this awhile back.
Akro,Yosh and Brock are pretty much the same from what I've seen,Brock has a real good knowledge base and he puts alot into his mapping,it's his hole package and customer support that sets brock above the competition, thats what your paying for with brock, which is great if your a dragracer or doing top speed comp, for joe shmo,it's irrelavent. The key for any exhaust to get optimum performance is to get it dyno tuned by someone whos good with the mapping,If you think your just going to plug a map in off the power commander data base for your pipe and your buddy has the same pipe and goes to get his dyno tuned by someone good, you'll probably loose and be wondering why,he'll pull you from bottom to top on rollons,it's all in the tune, granted your the same wieght and rider skill.I plugged in the Akro map off the dynojet website and my bike felt pretty damn good,1st pull on the dyno the bike was only making 180hp and midrange was not there,he cleaned it all up and the bike picked up alot of midrange and almost 7hp up top, runs better than a stocker as far as drivability goes,no surging and its very smooth, youd never know it till it went on the dyno, came off the dyno much faster especially in the midrange.I have the Akro,my friend has the Yosh, tuned the same shop, same day and run identicle on roll ons, mine with the Akro made 187hp and 107ftlbs of torque, his with the Yosh made 188hp and 105ftlbs of torque.I roll against my friends with Brocks shorty and dyno tuned and made 186hp also, we run side by side on roll ons,his pipe is annoying as far as loudness goes when we go street riding.Get the pipe you like, and don't get caught up in the numbers game, the reputable ones are all good pipes,it's hair splitting.Best bang for the buck out of the three would have to be the Yosh at 850.00 in my opinion.good luck.
