Glad that he's okay and that he went down at 1/2 track instead of the top end where his speed would have been much higher.

yes, he was on that thing.  I heard he had a damn hard time getting it down the track @ 225 his first pass.

Who did you here that from? The bike ran fine, it was a shake down and there was no problem getting to that speed.

That's the bike Tom just after we finished with everything last night.

Just so everyone knows we dropped John off at home about an hour or so ago and Michelle was going to take him to the doctor to get a good going over.

He has some injuries, but he is/and will be fine. John in a tough SOB to go down at that speed.

We ran the opposite of the March meet, which I believe is SE.

I ran my stock street bike with nothing worth mentioning.

Glad John is ok !! Neat looking ride !!!  I would just build one for speed not class rules, what i mean is just go real fast in front of a crowd..at a meet somewhere and you don't claim the record..thats all!!  Your the fastest and everyone knows it !!

Tom we are not what caused the accident, yet. We did not get a time slip as he went down right before the traps. It was a very very fast pass, when Scott Horner and I pulled the GPS from the bike I took a picture and this is what we saw.

Scott,

that GPS Looks Familiar ?

I traded it to John for his Old Version 1
`
{ it had a little bigger Numbers, and I didn't have to read a book to use :oops:}

My Big Brotha/& Tuner Gil Nevarez-He is with Carroll Shelby now.

Called me right when it happened,and was Very Worried as he said "it was a Bad 1 :grn:"

IS THAT in MPH :eek:?

Was the rear Blown?

I've been with him racing in a flash flood@ Bonnieville {Even My Crazy A$$$ wouldn't get out of the truck :jw: !}

So I know what a Great LSR Racer he is. :scrwy:

It  had to be Mechanical,but Gil said it was kinda Cold out ?

I was Not there and just reported what I was told 1st hand right after it happened.

Just Glad he's Alive :angel:.

Thank you for the update,

Kaz -  Myself and John's racing partner Bob were in que to run next and watched from a mile away. It was a very scary set of events and our heart dropped, everytime someone got on the radio you are praying for good news. We are all glad that John came out of the crash alive.

Slatroni - Sorry I didn't get to catch up with you more as we packed up and left early. I hope you were able to get the speeds you were looking for as I know how hard it is to get a bike down the track and obtain a certain speed. Really glad we got to meet and that you got some passes in, I am sure you will be back as this stuff is addicting.
