Time for a Shock
« on: May 02, 2011, 07:58:28 PM »
Being a HH, I've never bought a shock because I never had a problem spinning, just wheelying :bike: I have a stock shock thats been worked(spring and revalved) and now with my new found HP I'm having problems spinning on the back half. I have it adjusted to where my 60' is 1.49-1.51 at 65" with a Shinko Hookup, not great but I'm 270-290lbs depending which day of the week, but now I'm spinning in 4th and 5th. If I adjust it to track better on the big end, then my 60' goes back to 1.65-1.70. Walter has been on my ass for over a year to buy a shock and am AMS1000, I have the AMS so I guess its time for a shock :tu:

Went to the track last night, couldnt get my 60' times down and finally figured out my clutch had 2 warped steels and a wiped fiber. I was launching at 7psi and going up to 18psi by 3rd.
