maybe check the alignment of the airshifter bracket and the cylinder/clevis and where is your air solenoid? if its located in the tail that could be your issue

I have my solenoid mounted directly to the cylinder, air line running to the Co2 regulator in the tail. Ive had problems with mine when I had the cylinder too tight as well.

Double check the shift star/detent under the shaft cover see if the pins on it are bent or leaning.Mine were from too much air pressure on co2 shifter.R&D caught mine.
