Throw it on a boat and bring it to Texas Jarim!

Is that one tuned with ECU flashing?
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

That's our team's (TFM, TeamForceMajor) bike, nicknamed 'TFM Taxi 911'. Driver was my friend, Teemu Tenhula.

Target is to drive at Bonneville 2012 and make a new world record there. :)

And it's completely Motec controlled.

Great run Jarim  :thumb: Fastest in the mile but the fastest speed is Steve Knecum's 235.189 at the Loring 1.5 mile. Using a .016 NOS jet and Motec control.   LSL
All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.

Motec = A guy named Mo text's you the fuel and ignition info as you go down the course. Old school was the piggyback system where he rode pillion and yelled the data to you.  :hys:   LSL

Yeah, who needs a standalone when you can have a stock ecu that revs to damn near 14,000 RPM :-)

LOL  :hys:

Wish we had such runways available that we could do 1.5 mile too. That's different sport! In Halli (where we drove) runway is 2.5km, e.g. 1.55 miles.

If so how often, how many entrants??

Once a year, from 12pm to 18pm in 1 hour groups meaning ~40 entrants / 1 hour, as many starts as possible during 1 hour. This year there were about 250 vehicles in the list (both bikes and cars) but all of those didn't show up as weather prediction was rain for whole day. Luckily it didn't rain. :)

Picture:

Left: TFM Taxi 911 with driver Teemu Tenhula, right: my bike with me on it (I did 355.12km/h = 220.708mph)

what kind of timing equipment is used and what is the name of the event.
Perhaps TrickTom could add it to the 200+mph thread??

Well as majority of the people are driving much less, they have only Stalker Dual which isn't very precise to tell at which point the speed was taken. And it only shows max 336km/h...

Those who drive faster usually have their own equipment, meaning PerformanceBox, Driftbox or VBox which are quite precise.

Next year there will be laser based speed traps.

Name of the event is (Finnish): Hallin Nopeusajot

I think we would need laser-type timing gear to go on Tom's list.
Still, a huge achuievement.

Is there any chance you could bring it to USA for a pavement event?

Would need lot's of cash which we don't have. :(

But as said, target for us is to be at Bonneville 2012.

Jarim , costs are not as much as you may think , were bringing 4 bikes from Australia this year , and my 3rd year transporting a bike to and from Bonneville
For us the 4th bike makes the difference between putting the bikes in crates and including in general freight or using a 6m (20ft) container for only our bikes and gear .
Sharing the fun and the costs helps too ,  I could not afford to race at Bonneville on my own but sharing the rides with good friends and each contributing what they can makes it happen .

New records done today: 390.2km/h @ 1609m (~ 242.46mph). Same bike same team different day ;-) And expecting still more to come. This was just tuning dive before first full run...

Good job to you guys!!, its about time someone beat that record.. btw the nos was operated by a little button totally isolated from the Motec stuff..I actually don't even think it worked, since our teams twin went 238 with basically the same engine combination on motor.. I think i made 3 passes ..with the the single .016 jet
