Case Saver / Sprocket Cover from RCC
« on: August 09, 2011, 01:59:15 PM »
Ive killed my chain last weekend at a Test & Tune weekend at top speed.
Only a few things are broken.
Thanks RCC for that cool "Case saver".
No damage at the water pump or at the engine case  :tu:
That part is worth every penny.

Proof that money in the right spots could save a lot more money and physical pain if something goes wrong!  We are sitting on bombs and chainsaws and it's good to see you're ok other than some minor damage. :tu:

Good to see it holding up!

I see the shark still bit ya on the rear of the tail.

And now lets raise our glasses (or mugs or bottles, cans, etc)....Here's to you the inventor of chain guards.

It was a  DRZ2 from EK. I think it is a good chain.
Dont know why it happened. Never had a problem before.

Ive installed a new DRZ2, taped the tail and repaired the chainguard so good I can.
I was at the NitrOlympix/Hockenheim last weekend and everything was perfect again.  :bike:

It was the chain Ron. The master link was still ok.

I will change the chain more often than before. Better is that. I swear

The EK 630MS chain is the way to go I have been using them for years on my big motor bikes.

630 is a really big chain. 6/8 x 3/8 !
I drove a 630 on my Top Gas dragster with slick and wheelybar.  :bike:

Why do you have the lever set so far out on the shift shaft it is nearly off?  Just curious.

Ahhhh, on the first pic, right?   :id:

That is an old pic what Ive made when I reassembled the bike.
Ive only put the lever on the shaft for not hanging down.

Very observant of you  :thumb:
