will a 2008 genII motor bolt on to a 2000 frame ? i am thinking about buying a motor out of the 2008 that a guy wrecked for my 2000 .

The engines are dimensionally the same. Are you just using the cylinders down or the entire engine(head, throttle bodies, etc...)?

If youre swapping it all, you'll need to get wiring harness, gauges, and ECU as well.
