just ran 8.90@163.95mph last night, stock sump
street pipe.only 1.609 60ft,turning the tyre
on the street meet track in the 60 and down the
track, better with fresh tyre though.i matched my 60-330
split i had run previously with a brock brick
with just lots of fuel in the tank instead this time.still
intermittently cutting out, havent solved that yet.

yep my 8.90@163.9mph was with an sae head
from mike on it.still only 395/378, webbs on it.
about 670lbs all up,hp calculator says i put
230hp to the track, considering its not pinned until 2nd
gear, thats shows me its making more than that, its just
tough to use it efficiently stock length.

That is definitely making good power. What track do you race at down under? I frequent Sydney quite a bit.

very late response, sorry guys . it is not my ride but is well noted that lee's performance in north carolina built a stock wheel base busa that lit the boards up with a 8.21 at 175. the bike was built for one of his overseas customer .the bike has been said to be able to run in the teen's.

fantastic time but a slider/lockup and likely
ballast exclude it.a guy over here just ran
8.68@163 1441,flat sump,sidewinder
hand clutch,no ballast approx  675lb all up,
stock length,amazing effort getting the
60 to 1.49 and the 330 to 3.81,all by hand.

Definitely amazing! and with 1.49 60'    Normally that kind of 60' is from guy weight less than 140lbs

That guy weight ????   175lbs    ????

yeh i had my swingarm pivot 30mm higher than the rear axle with me on it.With the torque of this motor, thats enough to try and pull the tyre into the ground, resisting any squat so it launches like its got a strut in it.Ive dropped the rear so the pivot is only 5mm higher than the rear axle, this should provide more give in the rear suspension on the hit to make it easier to get out of the hole.Ive just fitted brand new oem clutch plates and have come to the conclusion
that clutch fibres harden with heat cycles.exactly the same stack height and old or new clutch fibres and the feel is very different.Old fibres become very surface finish fussy on the steels and need more clutch cushion to be rideable.Ive now marked my fibres so i can log the number of launches a set of fibres have had.I threw out 40 fibres of unknown age, thats committment to going fast, lol.I just need a little more short track and ill be where my bike should be.This doesnt mean if you came to OZ i wouldnt give you a few laps, you ride pretty awesome.

Looks like most race with extended swingarms Glenn :) We've seen Gadson boy run 8.98 on the new 14r in great air.

Ran another 8.89 in really humid air today,so it gained 4/100,s from the 330-1320.the pleasing
part is the short track is improving 1.53-4 60ft,3.97-8 330,s stock sump and street pipe no ballast.theres more there but i got rained out  but pleased the toughest part is improving
albeit painfully slowly, the back half will come back in good air,Then ill be smiling just a little more
,lol.I was 189lb suited today.

Quick update,i just ran an 8.85 first pass this evening, wrapped with that for now, time to
sharpen the axe for the better air in the coming months over here.Sometimes the less you try,the faster you go.
