yes that would be a good way to control the power in first gear i think
i havent been adjusting on those this season but it was my plan to let them open more and earlier next year if i had gotten another season with the unopened engine, with the new enginge i may have to adjust the opposite way or maybe try the slew rate rpm limiter option
