Fired up my bike for the first time since the rebuild last night and the oil pressure light was barely on and flickering. I had just installed a new crank, Wossner rods, bearings, oil pump, high pressure valve, and the list goes on. I spun a rod bearing last year, so instantly, I had visions of horrible demise to my new motor. Sportbikeryder told me to check a few things and sure enough, it was a bad seal on the o-ring between the swivel pickup and block. It was a new o-ring too! So just because parts are new, doesn't mean it is good. Started the bike and not even a flicker! I'm going to put a guage to it just to make sure, but I'm confident all is well.
