Putting a 45 tooth sprocket on rear keeping 18 up front, will the chain need to be lenghtened and or replaced(4kmiles)?
Is a TRE worthwhile if I do no mods other than slip-ons?

Thanks

Johnny,
Please excuse my thread-jacking, but I just bought 55 gallons of C-16 for TMH's/Jailer's/now my Turbo Busa.  KKK 27 unit.  Air to air intercooler.  The boost is adjustable from 15-30 lbs.  I would assume with straight C-16, 30 lbs would be no problem.  Crower rods and Carpenter Springs.  18/40 gearing.   Heavy clutch springs.  Basically, a modified MC XPRESS system.  You might know this bike, it is purple and black and Dennis used it as his personal ride for a time.    McIntosh 5 1/2 inch  reinforced arm and raked 3 degrees and lowered 2 inches.

The 45 tooth rear should fit but it will be very, very tight,, the wheel will be all the way forward in the adjuster slots.

Never put a TRE on.

If you are just putting slipons on, no other mods are needed, slip ons don't do anything for power, just make better sound.

The TRE will lock the timing and fuel maps in the 5th gear tables.
Do some research on the ECU Editor and they will have a better explanation.
Your best bet is to get the flash set up from Boost by Smith and download the soft ware.
It is free but throw them a bone and paypal some cash to the developers. You can't get anything this good, period.
