« on: April 18, 2012, 08:57:15 PM »
I just put NOS on my 2011 Busa. Dry 60hp system. Aguy told me those systems always destroy Busa engines... How safe is it?

If it is a stock motor, I'd bump it down to 40hp. replace the valves and valve springs if you want to go higher.
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

I spit shims on a 40 shot that was tuned perfectly. I also had it set up as progressive with a window switch set from 6k-10k. No way it went into the rev limiter. It now has 65# APE springs and Gen 1 valves. Been spraying it with 50 with no issues since the upgrade.
