Is the performance improvement that great. I understand the biggest advantage is with braking. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone with experience with the Busa and magnesium wheels?
It's just not a heterosexual thing to do to a bike.

Stole that phrase from "Kirk".

Carbon wheels are even lighter..

yes performance will increase.

The light weight wheels will improve acceleration, braking, bust most of all it will improve your cornering as the reduced weight causes much less straight line gyroscopic force..

they are nice..

the OZ wheels are really nice also..

The magnesium wheels and the forged alum wheels are even nicer.  The carbon wheels are the best but they cost most also.  We have a sale on the OZ wheels right now.  We can also get good prices on magnesium wheels.  Shoot me a email if interested.

The Busa wheels are relatively heavy because of the performance of the motorcycle. I have ridden mag. and std. wheel Busas back to back and the difference is astounding. As mentioned above it improves all facets of operation: acceleration, braking and steering. You will feel the steering the most. The single best modification you can make. Magnesium wheels are rather brittle so if you live in a state with poor roads, forged aluminum wheels would be a good choice. Wave rotors also lower unsprung weight and offer good value.
All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.

Marvic Penta II magnesium racing wheels:

My bike steers lighter and tips in easier than a Supersport spec Gixxer 750 race bike that I rode back-to-back with mine.

A 180 rear tire helps a lot also. Racing wheels cost two large, but a 180 rear tire is less expensive than a 190.

Well, I just started 2 weeks ago and until I have 30 days in I won't get anything at cost. I know that you have great prices and service. Just had a buddy order a clutch hub for a GSXR1000 from you.
