How goes the weight loss?
« on: May 04, 2012, 01:07:18 AM »
Haven't seen anyone ( including myself ) post in here in a while. How is everyone doing? Losing the weight and getting those times down?

I was laid off and had surgery on my arm so my weight ballooned right back up sadly. Started 221 dropped to about 207 then went back up to 227.  Was probably higher during the winter but I stopped looking  :?

But made some decisions that I am finally sticking to. The biggest one was cutting out all soda and even milk. I drink between 50-128 ounces of water a day usually with a glass of OJ in the morn. Doing some serious portion control and stopped eating late at night. And of coarse doing some exercising 3-5 days a week.

Worst thing i'm taking in is a few Guinness on the weekend. But everyone deserves one for all that hard work.

And today stepped on the scale;

201.6lbs  :bah:

At this rate I should hopefully see 199 or less pounds by this time next week. I haven't been under 200 in probably 8 or 9 years.

So there is hope guys keep at it, if my lazy procrastinating butt can do it so can you.

I've been laid up for 2 year and have gotten up to 275lbs , got on the scale at the docs office a week ago and the dam thing said 1 person at a time please and shut off.

I'd try this but I don't want anything up my nose http://gothamist.com/2012/04/22/feeding_tube_diet_bride_its_not_cra.php

Congrats and good work! Nice to see most doing a good job.

Forgot to update recently myself.

Sitting at 196lbs now with a low of 193.  Been floating around that range, been slacking on my workouts but have held my eating and drinking habits.

Was 355 on my birthday at end of Jan.  Heaviest I've ever been.  Started going to the club and GAINED anothr five lbs the next week.  360 on Feb 1.  I started writing down everything I eat (wrote my own calorie tracker app) and targeted ~1500 calories a day.  Treadmill 6-7 days a week.  Lost 80 lbs. in five months.  I am at 280 and hoping to get to 252 by Oct 1 (will have lost 30% of my body weight).  Feels good to be able to run again.  Only bad thing is I don't have anything to wear and am reluctant to buy now when I'm planning on losing another 30 lbs.  I've got a size 60 Vanson jacket, brand new - never worn, that I'll never wear now.....

Way to go Chris, keep up the good work.

I lost 30lbs five years ago, when I was starting my LSR saga. I have managed to keep all but 10lbs off. Weigh in at 180 now.

March 2012 after returning from cruise with my parents, my weight was at 250 lbs.  Heaviest I have ever been.  Started school Aug 2012 and last 8 months have cut back on my late night meals, plus alot of walking around campus with heavy back pack carrying my book have lost 24 lbs so far.  Still working on weight loss, being 6'3" target weight where I would feel comfortable would be around 210-215 lbs.
