gasxr1300 & gasr1000
« on: May 05, 2012, 08:19:01 AM »
k so i have a 07gasr1000  the rear rim is J17M/CXMT6.00
i also have a J17XMT6.00 rim
but the  J17XMT rim has 6 holes for the sprocket hub and my J17M/CXMT has 5.
i have been told that this J17XMT is from a busa or a TRL1000.
so my question
can i use this J17XMT6.00 rim on my 2007 gsxr 1000 with a sprocket hub from a 2007 hayabusa?
my swing arm is original 2007 gsxr 1000
will it fit in my swing arm will there be any problem with the chain? will i have to chage chait or mybe front chain sprocket?

you could use it as long as you have the sprocket hub and brake rotor for the rim. The question is why would you want to use it. The gsxr 1000 rim is lighter and better looking.
