how strong is the 05 gsxr 1000 case?

I'm building a 05 gsxr 1000 motor and the customer was wondering how much power the 05 case will b safe with? I was thinking 300hp I heard the 01 02 cases are stronger is this true? What are the limits?

Talking to someone about that the other  day. He claimed because of the bore being smaller on the older 1000 the case (meat between the barrels is thicker).

OK, so will a fully built studded, girdled 05 case handle 300-350hp? I highly doubt he will need more then that for a street and occasional strip bike.

I just heard that the cylinders will crack with more then 10psi so I guess thats the limit!

the guy that I know that builds 1000 motors for rich people with those little race cars that use 1000 motors says 450-500 on a build 1000 motor done right.

I know of several 07 1000s with stock cases that are rinning 4.70s to 4.90s and have never cracked the cases.They have blown up for other reasons though
