What more could I ask for, best friends in the world, 2 AWESOME riders, Greenie clicking off pretty darn fast passes, one after the other, no mechanical or set up issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zack Millholland getting ready to set the new world's record for NA motorcycle in the Mile = 227.3 at Wilmington (was 227.2)
I put Greenie back on the trailer after only 1 balls out pass.
new NA record for MPS/F 1650 at Wilmington, Zack got his hat.
There was lots more left in her, but i wanted a running motor for Colt at Loring.
Apologies to Zack for so few (3 incl licensing) passes; but he is a natural and didn't need "practice"
Greenie was geared for 230 at 10,900 (20/41), crossed the line at 10,800 absolute top of hp curve.
Colt Batemen getting ready to get her done at Loring with wifey, my 40 year long friends Bill & Jake, and my new friend, Scott Davis.
Colt launched like a grudge racer with his life savings on the line.
First pass was spinning/tire smoking 1-2-3-4th gear, as far as i could see him down track = 230.7 in 1.5mi.
Second pass... motor howling, but almost no tire smoke.
AWESOME clutch/throttle control = 235.7 in 1.5mile on Mark Deluca's 237 pass.
Colt set the track record for MPS/F 1650, got his hat.
Greenie was geared for 240 (20/39), crossed the line at 10,783 = 235mph, 200rpm left, but wind was zero at the big end...
Two 230.1 passes at the mile but i didn't register for it, so no records at the mile at Loring.
1/2 mile speeds left me with my jaw hanging = 203.4 - 204.4 -
208.2 - 206.2 - 207.5
Only one missed shift 5-6th when we shortened kill time, still ran 232.3.
AWESOME 1635 kit & new style head/exh system from Bob Carpenter,
AWESOME riding by Zack & Colt,
Thanks to you forum guys and all the folks who helped me develop Greenie, especially Larry Forestall.
