Great stuff Karl and crew!  It was a blast to follow the successful weekends one run at a time.  My butt still hurts from sitting on the edge of my seat!

We broke a chain on Brenda's bike and it took out the clutch push rod. Who brings a spare clutch push rod. Nobody!!

Apparently you have never peeked inside our trailer Fred.  I'll give you a quick tour next time!

No question that it is the people who make our sport what it is. We broke a chain on Brenda's bike and it took out the clutch push rod. Who brings a spare clutch push rod. Nobody!! Bill W made one for us. So many people helped that I cant name them all. Thanks everybody. :thumb:

We made one out of a screwdriver once.

Give Richard at RCC a call and it might not break next time :-)
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

Yeah, they were wonderful weekends!  :tu:  I just got home from working in Hope, Arkansas last week so I've been really busy the last few weeks.

Wilmington was so hot I almost went home.  Then the line got short on Saturday afternoon and I thought I'd get in line one last time.  I was about to run when the clouds opened up.  Second vehicle off on Sunday morning with a 215.5 pass.  A personal best in the mile.  Very cool seeing Greenie smoking the tire in a 227+ pass.  Congratulations to Karl and Zack.  And how about those Millholland's and their hat trick, three new inductees to the Ohio 2 club, congratulations to Dan, Chad and Zack.

Loring was interesting.  It was nice seeing Fred and Brenda again.  It was very cool seeing Bill make his incredible 290 mph pass.  The fastest motorcycle on the planet in the mile and mile and a half!  And Greenie was there, smoking tire and going fast.  How about Dan getting in yet another 2 club and on his birthday.  A big congratulations to Bill, Karl, Colt and Dan.  Despite shifting trouble I was able to go faster than I've gone anywhere,  225.3 (220 unofficial in the mile).  The bike was very stable.  Dean gave me some good shock advice and I put a Scotts steering damper on.

Can't wait for WOS,  Mike

Karl,

Even a blind hog gets an acorn now and then  :hys:  The 220 in the mile is unofficial.

See you WOS............I can't wait to get back on the salt.
