The DME Racing Real Street class has evolved over the years from low 8-second machines to motorcycles that have eclipsed the 7.80 barrier all with a stock hand clutch and a stock chassis.

MIROCK officials haves always monitored the different combinations in the class (Nitrous Big Bore, Nitrous Liter, Turbo Big Bore, and Turbo Liter combinations) and have made wheelbase adjustments to the class over the years to keep parity among them. In an effort to maintain that parity, and not have the class fall to one combination MIROCK officials have given the nitrous liter bikes and additional inch of wheelbase.

Jason Miller (Promoter of MIROCK) states, "This change will bring back many of the nitrous liter bikes that helped get this class started many years ago. We look forward to even tighter competition in the DME Racing Real Street class and a chance to see some new racers in the winner's circle."

The following rule revision will be in effect at the FBR Shop Bike Nationals at Rockingham Dragway on August 25-26, 2012.
