Apart from the superb achievement of Jo (tinkerbelle) Stevenson on Jack Frosts turbo busa to run 243.5 mph in the mile we had a few other worthy results from others.
Jack Frost ran 244.1 mph on the same bike to set the current track record for Elvington,he then ran a faster speed but this was over an unmeasured distance around 1.25 miles.
Jack then ran a turbo B King to 211.8 mph to set a "naked" record for Elvington followed by a 196.9 mph on a Turbo R6 with a later run at 1.25 miles approx for 202.8 mph, this bike is for sale if anybody wants a very quick but stock looking 600.
Tony Foster currently about 93 on the list upped his mile speed 214.3 mph and another very fast lady Becci Ellis from the same BDR camp ran 213.9 mph in the mile
Simon Woodham (bigfella) jumped on the list too with a 207.8 mph in the mile with another gen 1 turbo busa running just 6lb of boost.
Another new entry from Andrew Butterwort with a gen 2 normally aspirated busa 203.9 mph and Paul Brookes with a similar gen 2 at 201.6 mph. both in the mile.
and finally Terry Smith currently 179 on the list upped his best mile speed to 203.1 on his big bore gen 1 busa.
It was a special day for many competitors and conditions were good with a fairly constant tailwind of variable strength but nothing excessive.
