Winter 2012
« on: October 13, 2012, 11:32:08 AM »
Ok boys and girls, race season is over, what are you doing to your bikes for next year??

My #1 bike will get some aero changes, mostly repair and improve my tail. The motor is good. Bike #2 some minor motor stuff, Murray Sidewinder, do some comparison testing with velocity stacks. I may get a full LSR body set for it.

Dean what are you doing??

Bonneville is done, but there's a little more racing at El Mirage and Texas. Good luck to those lucky folks.

I plan to install big throttle bodies, get the AIM dash reflashed, and build an altered tail for Greenie. April will be here before I know it.

I love my gear indicator

Talk about switching to the dark side! Greg that thing's got 2 extra wheels!!!

If anybody can go 3 bills with a 45ci engine, you can. You and Jack Costella perhaps  :thumb: Best of luck.

Thanks Fred and Dean
2 extra wheels ?? maybe on the landing gear , still could be skids

i figure the better aero should be worth the 62 mph over Kims best run to date
actually having trouble fitting the 750 in, may be a direct loss electrical system yet
plenum shape compromised and the extra gears needed are quite the challenge

Going to JC's tomorrow with the 1340 bike. We ae going to do comparison runs. As raced this year, Ti force Sumo, Murray Sidewinder stepped big pipe, MurraySidewinder new pipe 1 7/8 right out of the head. Also test Velocity stacks. Stock length vs 1/2 shorter. Will post results asap. Its gonna be cool in the morning, maybe get some BIG numbers.
