Also heard that the GSXR 1000 2014 will come out to compare with the s1000rr, zx10 etc. The all new busa will be launched (as far as I know only fairing change and brembo calipers) also a new 600 / 750.

Brembo calipers and ABS are on the European current 2013 model.
I thought the US model did too?

HOS, I think a lot of dealers try to sell the old 2012 model.
Perhaps an order from mothership Suzuki  :?

that sounds great.   :tu:

the new 14 is pretty badass in stock form..  If I was buying a bike and leaving it stock engine with just a swingarm, exhuast, etc..  some small mods.  I would buy a new 14.
However....  If I plan on modeing the bike I prefer to have a busa.  Way more aftermarket suport. Easier to mod and make it quicker for cheaper.  ecu editor is great.   :tu:  A gen 2 busa with a 84mm bore stock would be great.  1441, biger cams, and better ported head stock from the factory.   :tu:

Remember when Suzuki showed us the B.King complete with factory supercharger then DNF ?

Suzuke need to think more about giving people what they want and listening to their customer base.

Change is bad. Lets keep it the same. If you want a 600 hp turbo bike, I pretty sure I know what you will build.....

If there is a complete redesign, It could possible screw everything up. Suzuki knows what we do with these bikes, which is one reason why they have not changed much.

My experience with aftermarket mods is high HP = lower reliability.  Cars and bikes.
My intake/exhaust/light mod vehicles have all been 100 % reliable.  My highly modified vehicles 0%.  Why 0%?  Because even if it runs great most of the time, if you always have to wonder which day a vehicle is going to crap out, then it is NOT reliable!
My point is that OEM has some advantages over modified.  Lots of cars have turbos straight from the factory, so the technology is there!
If they built a factory warrantied, low boost/low compression turbo/SC bike with all the electronic goodies (C-ABS, TC, ESC, DCT, etc) in one bike I would buy one in a heartbeat and so would many others.  Imagine a bike with 220+ WHP that was bullet proof reliable like a stocker....
Just my .02

At least they should build one to beat the new ZX14R...

I personally don;t think we will see much in the "max power" area in motorcycles, possibly ever. 220 or so crank HP is probably about all that there will be. It will probably keep trending toeards being done with less displacement, lighter, and higher tech solutions.
As much as I like HP, there really isn't much of a place for stock over 200rwhp on the street.
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

I think you are correct, lighter and less displacement.

From talking to the dealer here localy there is only one bike in their line up that plans to run Brembo Brakes, and that is said to be the Limited Edition Suzuki Hayabusa.  This particular bike will only see about 1 sent to each dealership if they even get one of the limited numbers.  The Limited is said to be different from the stock bike in that it will see better Brembo Brakes and a different paint scheme.
Personaly I have always been a big fan of performance machine...when picking my own brakes I checked out their billet mono-block brakes with larger diameter floating front brakes (check out the extra spacers).  They can work with factory forks or brake discs...real nice set up that shouldn't brake the bank, you can also keep the disc centers and replace the braking surface if needed.

Waiting until next year due to just finishing school this year and looking for new employment so gonna keep riding my Gen 1 for at least one more season.  IF Suzuki decides to upgrade to 1441 next year will get a new Busa if not will look for leftover 2013 for cost savings.
