M/T Drag slick gearing
« on: March 12, 2013, 09:59:28 AM »
This is a 68" wheel base set up with rider weighing 300 lbs. suited. Bike weighs 500 lbs. 230 hp engine. Where would you say gearing should be? 16/43 is where it is at now.

More HP = more gear !

J.R. at your weight...(total package 800lbs) and 230 hp you are supposed to cross the finish line in 5th at about 151-152 mph approx.

So your gearring seems OK..........if you have the stock rev limiter 10800

At what mph and what gear you cross the line??

Well guys an electrical issue seems to be holding this thing up! Gearing seems to be spot on. Big boy went 1.48 60' 5.95 in 1/8th mi. Lotsa room for improvement! I'll keep y'all in the loop as to results. Thanks!
