your entire life is only posted if you post it.  profiles can be set to private so only friends can see. and then you can set which friends can see what. and then you still don't have to post anything you don't want seen.

It's 2013 guys, to many business and companies use it for interaction.  If you have a problem and post it on that company FB page, 99% chance it's going to get taken care of or that company won't survive.  No more of this leaving messages and emails that NEVER get returned or heard.  Post a bad experience on a FB page and it gets attention...PERIOD!  But whatever, do what you like...it's your right...

You have a point, but something else to consider is if you have a problem especialy at work and you post It on your companys facebook page and you piss off the wrong person with your post you could be applying for unemployment shortly after, ............in the end its whatever floats your boat if someone wants to put there life in cyberspace its there choice, to me it gives people that may have it out for you another tool to use against you, weather you "friend" them or not

How is that any different than forums or other internet info? 

Do what your career/life can handle, it doesn't matter if its posted online or not...
