We had a 20 degree C overcast day no rain and a 10 mph headwind that veered off a little when it picked up but never strong.Jo (tinkerbelle) Stevenson was fastest on the day at 233.1 mph in the afternoon on one of Jack frosts bikes,Jack himself with 225.9 mph and Becci (angelpaws) Ellis on 224.0 although she was fastest for most of the day with an early 222.6 mph.
Tony Foster was next on 221.7 mph and Mike Grainger on his soon to be ratified British record holding busa on 221.3 mph.
All the riders had minor problems during the day including me with an air leak preventing the use of the air shifter or any boost over the spring pressure but while the fairings were off I took the chance of a few "naked " runs and quite enjoyed it for a while so when the air leak was traced and cured with some ptfe tape on the fitting I tried a few boosted runs with a best of 210.6 mph.
Les Marsh was the only other rider to crack 200 mph with a 213.9 mph.It was a case of "poor air" on the day whicch prevented any of the normally 200 mph aspirated bikes struggling in the 190s
A good day was had by all though :tu: but again less than 20 riders made the effort which allowed several riders to complete over 15 runs which makes it great value for money.
