Entered the Busa so far, still need a rebuilt turbo for 750 and get the new secondaries working.

A Jawa?

I am pretty sure I am going to stick around and watch the shootout. We could see history made, not only bikes but cars like the Turbonater, Speed Demon, Treat, etc..

Getting closer!!! Greg has bikes in container headed this way. Getting last details worked out on mine. Had Jeffs and Tracys Busas on dyno and they are looking good.  Want to get mine on to check everything is good with data logger etc. Found out one of the other shops here at track carries ERC 110 so I am good to go!

I'm registered for Bubbs, working out the final details installing my datalogger and wideband, and long leaded swingarm.
I did a test and tune at Sacramento (1/4 mi) and had a massive backfire shifting into third and blowed up the seam on my muffler, so I purchased a brock 20" street megaphone. Boy howdy, the beast sounds good!
I need to purchase a can of ERC MUL/B and get back on Jim's dyno.

Do I expect to set a record?  F___ no. But I do expect to run the beast for all it's worth, have an excellent time, make new friends, help however I can, and drink to the Gods of Land Speed at Carmen's Black and White.

Frankly, I'm so freakn giddy about it this year I can hardly contain myself. But I don't say a word to anybody about going fast. I just sit with a stupid smile, and don't bring it up to anybody who does not ask, which leaves me silent, smiling to myself, sitting in my own little world most of the time.
Hell freakn yea!

Finally got the Busa I bought from Larry together and on the dyno. Still can use some tweaking as I junked the PC3 and am using Editor, BUT--- made 255 HP and 145 torque! Gonna be a fun ride!
Gave me fits as the 24 volt system seems very sensitive to voltage, if one battery is down a bit it will spin over like a Mofo but no fire. Then the first dyno run it gave some FI codes so Greg had me disconnect PC3 and VOILA-- ran like a beast!

First couple of days will be a bit slow, still get in a couple or more runs a day, but as meet progresses you can do more and more runs--dependent on how your bike holds up and servicing it.

Yep lines can be long on the first days , but they get through them pretty quick,
there are 2 tracks with several starting points each and running 2 directions and pretty slick management plan to make it happen as easily as it does
be prepared for several hours in the 30-35 deg c sun , bring shade like beach umbrellas , and drink alot of water

management suppies popups for shade at pregrid lines and each start position, but it can't always fit everyone and you can be wearing leather for a lot of the wait .

And newbie asks again... do you know how the ERC fuels are priced? We have been using VP MS109 in our bike but based on the specs ERC A-8C would do as well and would be easier to get at the place.

I have been chasing my tail and I'm getting freakn pissed off. I've been chasing a low rpm off throttle stumble and die issue and it's killing me. I needed to go through my wiring and clean things up anyway, but dammit, give a dude a break. I was thinking it was related to messing up my wiring after installing a Daytona sensors wego 3... Disconnected that... checked wires connector to connector, thought it was the throttle position sensor, but it's good. O yea it's throwing no codes.
Not even 1/4 mile down the road, second gear, 25 mph no throttle... the motor will wanna die, if I blip the throttle I can keep it running but it will die if I let it. hit the starter and it starts right up. Under throttle it's fine, it's off throttle that is the issue.
So now I'll remove the throttle body's and fuel pump (1999) and check the filters and throw in a new pump I got lying around...
or it may be a kinky return fuel line.
Getting sick and tired of this crap 3 weeks before Bub's.

If anybody has any ideas, throw me a bone!

Thank you for letting me vent.

Daveed,
its a race bike fer god's sake.
Set the idle higher and run it!

How does yr HP dyno curve look?

if you are determined to fuk with something, put a pressure gauge on the supply hose to the fuel rail, then on the dyno.
Make double damn sure you have no leaks in yr plumbing.
Often wrong, but never unsure!!!!!

Excellent. I typically enjoy the last-minute thrash.
