Went to the movies last night with Trillium and we saw a preview of the movie Rush.  A movie about the 1976  formula one season between rivals James Hunt and Nikky Lada.. a saying caught our attention that described Bill... it was " His fear for danger was superseded by his will to be the fastest" to us that was Bill... miss u buddy

I just heard about Bill's passing on another forum. I didn't know Bill personally but I was deeply saddened by the news. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill, his family, and all of his friends.

RIP

For whatever reason, LTA's Tim Kelly & I clicked from the 1st time i met him, so i am prejudiced.
Having him partnered up with Joe Daly, is awesome.

That said, i echo what Larry says, "Tim is a class act"!!!!

I am proud to announce the BILL WARNER MEMORIAL TOP SPEED TROPHY. This permanent trophy will stay with the LTA and have the name, speed and date engraved on it. The racer will receive a custom colored hat that will signify their accomplishment. This award is open to all vehicles (but let's not let too many cars get it !!). Designs have not been finalized but it will be ready for 2014.  :tu: :tu:    LSL
