Primarily looking at Lakesters, but seeing JC earn a red hat would be a definite cause for swigging some of his Crown!!

I will be there as "Scott Horner-wrench for hire" though there is a possibility the Heads UP BMF naked Busa will make an appearance wrapping up the filming of On any Sunday III with Carlin Dunne riding.  He was the second fastest Naked bike at Speedweek with only two days on the Salt.  Hell, it was the only time he tried LSR or been on a turbo bike and he cruised the BMF to a 208 on the funky salt!  If the salt is exceptional I may try the BMF out on the salt though I WILL be riding it at Mojave!!  I am looking forward to seeing JC, Fred and the HMFIC of TFA my mentor Karl.

Mentioning Johnny Cheese....  Many may not know that JC and I go back a couple years.  I took this pic of JC wrenching on his ride between rounds.  Yes, this was 20+ years ago when we both lived in Las Vegas.

That sucks Johnny. Don't accept the surgery advice too quickly - it can %^&* things up even worse. My wife Leslie was this || close to surgery, but we waited 1 week, she felt better, kept waiting, and within months she was totally fine, no surgery. Good luck.

I won't make WF, just spent 3 days in SLC hoping to see Cook's Shootout. Instead hung out with Scott, Greg, Jim, Kim, and gang at Heads Up, checked out the local parks. Beautiful state! If anyone has a few extra days in the area, check it out.

Hope WF is drier than what we got for Cooks,
We too had some great sight seeing, lots more to Wendover than first appearances would suggest
If anyone gets stuck there and wanting somethiing to do
go to the tourist centre and ask for directions to , the raptors, the blue lake, the bombs,driving  maps of the silver mountains ,airplan wreck, caves, 1940's mines , and the great views

And to add insult to injury the turbo in the truck died and were stuck in Battle mountain untill we can get one shipped

I just got an email from the SCTA saying that World Finals is cancelled for this year. Too much water on the course.

That is why you should plan to go to every race on the salt... the year is over if the weather doesn't cooperate.
This year we lost 2 of 3, the Bub shortened 2 days and we will see if the fast guy meet goes in a week.
