Yosh Cam Settings in a 1507

I know, I know. Not the best choice but it's what a customer has. Any recommendations for cam timing numbers? Head's ported to boot and will primarily be drag raced. Thanks

What kind of power and power range can you expect with such small cams in the engine? Seems like a waste on such a large displacement.

Can you really put the intake so low ? Is there enough room for intake valve.

102 and 105 is on the cam card for a stock bore. So no worries there whatsoever

I made 191 hp with stock exhaust pipes and 1390  head and yosh cams, pump gas on my dyno which reads about 10 hp low. Your not going to gains a lot of hp going from yosh to say 415.   I would say maybe 4-5 at most if that.   Same dyno a bike with head and bigger cams and sidewinder and race gas  c12 made 199. Just dynoed it I didn't build it . I actually called Dyno jet and were checking the calibration this week because I think it's to low.   Btw I would set them at 103/105

Wow. The #s are all over the place.

I'd like to understand the reasoning behind the suggestions of each one.

Come on now, get it right.  There's "experience," and then there's record setting experience. Both you and JC fall into the latter category, which speaks for itself.
